It follows three very different families competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised that the show got such a low rating, but it made more sense when I saw the many reviews explaining why it didn’t beat the first episode.

I really like the cast and everyone’s performances

The show is a slow-burn mystery that may not be for everyone. Personally, I found it witty and funny, and it has a distinct Liz Feldman tone that I like.

All the characters have their own side stories that create a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels

At first, I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano because of my own biases (I couldn’t for the life of me separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond), but that quickly wore off. By the final episode, I was already pretty much caught up in the story, even though I figured out the main twist pretty early on.

That said, I’m not mad about it

I’d love to see more of this show, and I hope there’s a second season. No need to waste time scrolling—there’s a ton of new movies and TV shows on Netflix this month.
