There are not many animal documentaries that have been adapted for the screen.

The touching and engaging story of two arctic foxes and the wide, high-quality shots of arctic nature kept me captivated throughout the film

I was surprised by how many twists and turns this film was able to offer, even though it was just a series of events in the foxes’ lives.

Despite the fact that they were not human, these actors showed ingenuity and quite successfully aroused empathy

I laughed at the cute squeaks of the foxes, was afraid of the boring bangs and loud barks of the dogs and was happy for them when, after many adventures and the almost inevitable death of the male, they were reunited.

Overall, a cute movie that kids might enjoy, although those who were with me in the theater weren’t as impressed as I was.
