Description
Almost everyone knows the story of Aladdin. Or at least they THINK they know it, mainly from the Walt Disney movie. But there are many different versions of the story of Aladdin and the genie of the magic lamp. The Stage Club’s production of Aladdin has all the old panto favourites – Aladdin, Wishy Washy, Widow Twanky, the evil Abanazar, the Emperor and his daughter the princess. There are also not one but two magical genies, the hilarious Palace Policemen, Ping and Pong, and the lovely So-Shy. The evil Abanazar plans to get hold of the magic lamp, and with its power take over the world. Will he succeed? Will good triumph over evil and true love win out in the end? Will everyone live happily ever after? The answers to these and many other questions will be answered in the Stage Club’s fun-filled family pantomime, Aladdin.
