October’s outing is the third Jan Ridler Texas Scramble at Palm Springs, Batam on Saturday 18^th of October.

Jan was a regular attendee at the SSAS golf outing for many years. He sadly passed away in early 2012.

He always enjoyed the camaraderie of our outings, and especially the Texas Scramble. So we now hold this fun team event annually as a fitting way to celebrate his memory.

The price for this event is S$150 (society members), S$160 (non-members), for which you will receive:

Green Fees for 18 holes (Texas Scramble format)
Buggy, shared caddy & insurance
Return ferry Tanah Merah – Batam – Tanah Merah
Buffet lunch.
Prizes

Except for those with a multiple entry visa for Indonesia, you will require US$15 or S$26 in cash for your VOA.

NOTE: The visa issued at from Batam is now the half page version.

We depart from Tanah Merah on the 07:40 ferry and will return on the 17:10 ferry (Batam time), arrival Singapore ~18:50 (Singapore time). Please be at Tanah Merah by 06.40.
